Ingredients
1cupcooked Kamut
½banana
½ cupplant based milkI used almond milk
1-2tablespoonscarob chips
¼teaspooncinnamon
¾tablespooncoconut nectarsubstitutes: maple syrup or agave nectar
1teaspoonchia seeds
½ teaspoon maca root power
¼teaspoonvanilla extract
1pinch salt
1inch chopped piece of bananaoptional garnish
1sliced strawberryoptional garnish
Instructions
Add banana, milk, maca root powder, salt, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and coconut nectar to a blender and blend until smooth.
Transfer mixture to a small saucepan and heat over low heat until it simmers.
Stir in cooked kamut then stir in chia seeds. Lower heat and continue cooking until mixture becomes thick and creamy.
Fold in carob chips.
Garnish with desired toppings and serve warm or cold. If serving cold, let your pudding cool down at room temperature then refrigerate until chilled.
