Banana Walnut Bread Smoothie

This smoothie tastes just like the classic treat! If you love banana bread, you'll love this healthy alternative. It's creamy, healthy, banana-nutty, and super satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 large frozen bananas
  • 1-1.5 cups cashew milk or use other nut milk of choice
  • 1.5 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons dry oats
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 small pinch salt I used pink himalayan salt
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed meal or use whole flax seeds
  • 1-1.5 teaspoons agave nectar or use sweetner of choice

Instructions

  • Pour 1 cup of milk into blender.
  • Add the remainder of ingredients. Blend until smooth and creamy. If mixture is too thick, add ½ cup of milk (1 tablespoon at a time) and blend to desired consistency. If mixture is too thin, add more frozen banana and blend to desired consistency.
  • Taste. If needed, adjust flavor to your liking by using the spices on the ingredient list.
