How to Make Turmeric Paste

This Turmeric Paste is the main base of the the deliciously warming, and wildly anti-inflammatory Golden Milk. It's such a wonderfully simple staple ingredient to have on hand.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup turmeric powder
  • 1 cup spring water
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into a small saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until it has reached a paste-like consistency, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  • Let the mixture cool, then refrigerate in a sealed container. It should last for several weeks refrigerated.
