Goji, Mango, Turmeric Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie
Gogi berries combined with juicy orange and carrot juice makes for a bright, eye-catching smoothie packed with Vitamin C and betacarotene for the immune system.
- 1 orange peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 ripe mango (stone removed) Fresh or Frozen (thawed)--Approx 1 cup of mango flesh
- ⅓ cup dried gogi berries
- ½-1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger or ¼-1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup fresh carrot juice (4-5 carrots)
- pinch black pepper
- 2 tablespoons black chia seeds
Place all ingredients in blender (except chia seeds). Blend on high speed until smooth. Taste and adjust "spiciness" to your liking by adding more ginger if necessary.
Pour into two medium sized glasses. Stir in chia seeds and serve chilled.
