The aqua blue color lends itself to the lovely Spirulina. Beautiful, right?! Even more beautiful, let’s take a look at Spirulina’s nutrition profile:

Spirulina is nutrient-dense food and packed FULL of vitamins, including vitamins A, C, E and B vitamins, as well as a whole bunch of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, zinc and selenium. In particular, vitamin C and selenium are both antioxidants and help protect our cells and tissues from damage. It also has essential amino acids ( the building blocks of proteins). What’s more, protein makes up about 60 to 70 percent of Spirulina’s dry weight. Protein shake addition anyone?

As if Spirulina wasn’t superfood-y for this Blue Goddess, I squeezed in hemp seeds, and kelp! Yaass!! Okay, you ready? Grab your ingredients and your blender and join me!
