Golden Coconut Latte

*Le Sigh* good ole Golden Milk…but this time, I just had to do a remix. I give you!!….Thee Golden Coconut Latte! The title itself is a dead giveaway to my kicked-up version of the popular turmeric latte *wink*.

Before we get into the details, let’s talk for a second about the health benefits. It’s a hormone health godsend, from the anti-inflammatory properties of both the turmeric and ginger (2 essential ingredients when hormonal breakouts and painful PMS some knocking at your door), to gorgeously fatty coconut butter and milk. Coconut butter not only helps to keep you satiated, but is also highly antibacterial and another skin savior. I like to add a tiny bit of ashwagandha powder (or tincture) into my golden milk of it’s calming and soothing effects on the nervous system, giving the body an extra helping hand at combatting stress.
